01 · THE SITUATIONThe money came from one place. The dream lived somewhere else.
Robin runs Our Connected World Academy. She left her home country years ago and built a location-independent life, first as a remote employee, then as a freelancer, then with her own academy.
Her Spanish and Italian courses brought in most of the revenue. In her words, "it's what brought most money in the Academy and throughout the year there are at least three seasons of people really wanting to learn it."
Her bigger program, One Way Ticket (90 days from "I have an idea" to "I landed my first client"), had no clear entry path. Language learners and future freelancers landed in the same place and saw the same thing.
02 · WHAT WE BUILTA front door that asks before it sells.
We enrolled in Robin's academy ourselves to see it from the inside before changing a thing.
Discovery from the inside
Robin sent an overview of the academy and a voice note. We joined as a student, sent discovery questions, and wrote a bird's-eye avatar of her buyers: their goals, dreams, problems and fears.
The customer journey
A video walkthrough plus a whiteboard of the full journey, the old setup next to the new one.
The Borderless Path Quiz
Three result profiles: Soul Searcher, Global Pathfinder and Fluent Explorer. Fluent Explorers go to the language courses. The other two go to Clarity to Freedom and One Way Ticket. Every result page ends with a "Borderless Passport Summary".
The offer stack behind it
Checkout for the $47 Clarity to Freedom, One Way Ticket at a quiz-only $777, a $15 First Client Blueprint order bump, and timed upsells with a countdown.
A worksheet becomes a workbook
The First Client Blueprint was a worksheet. We added lessons on how to fill it in, across four steps: refine the idea, profile the client, build the offer, plan the marketing.
Nurture and ads
Email sequences per quiz profile, One Way Ticket sales copy built around a 90-day "Flight Plan", and ad videos to send traffic to the quiz.
03 · WHAT HAPPENEDEvery visitor now gets a path, not a menu.
Language learners and future freelancers no longer see the same page. The quiz sorts them first, then sells the offer that fits their answers, with a bump and an upsell built in.
let's change it to another bonus, whichever bonus you think fits best!
Robin, when we suggested swapping a bonus
Followers who don't buy are usually seeing the wrong offer.
That's the Alchemist wall. The fix is rarely more traffic. It's a clear path from "interested" to the one offer that fits them.
