Magnus Growth

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 August 2026

The short version. I collect your email when you ask for something from me, like the free Claude Quiz Builder Skill or the Educator Archetypes Quiz. I use it to send you that thing and to email you about my work. I do not sell your data. You can leave any time with the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email.

Who I am

Magnus Growth is a marketing business run by Demi Bernice, serving course creators, coaches and education founders. Magnus Growth is the data controller for the information described here.

What I collect, and why

WhatWhenWhy
Your email address and first nameWhen you opt in for a free resource or buy somethingTo deliver what you asked for and to send you marketing emails you can unsubscribe from
Your quiz answers and resulting archetypeWhen you complete the Educator Archetypes QuizTo show you your result and to send you follow-up that is relevant to it
Purchase detailsWhen you buy a paid productTo fulfil the order and keep business records. Card details are handled by the payment processor, never by me
Usage data: pages visited, links clicked, approximate location from your IP, device and browserWhen you visit a Magnus Growth page or open an emailTo understand what is working and to measure advertising

What I never collect

I do not collect your payment card numbers, and I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Cookies and advertising

Magnus Growth pages use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API. These record actions like visiting a page, opting in, or making a purchase, and report them back to Meta so I can measure my ads and show them to people who are likely to be interested.

For the Conversions API, your email address is sent to Meta in a hashed, one-way-scrambled form, so Meta can match the event to an account without me handing over the address in readable form.

You can control this from Meta's own settings at facebook.com/adpreferences, and you can block cookies in your browser settings.

Who else touches your data

I use a small number of established providers to actually run the business. They only get what they need to do their job:

I do not sell your personal information, and I do not share it for anyone else's advertising.

Where your data goes

My providers are based in the United States and Europe, so your information may be stored or processed outside your own country. Where the law requires it, those transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard offered by the provider.

How long I keep it

I keep your email address for as long as you are subscribed, and for up to 24 months after you unsubscribe or stop engaging, in case you come back. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. You can ask me to delete your data sooner.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can email me at alpha@demibernice.com and ask me to:

I will respond within 30 days. You will never be treated differently for asking.

If you are in the UK or the EU

My lawful bases are your consent for marketing emails, contract for delivering something you bought, and legitimate interests for basic analytics and keeping the business running. You can withdraw consent at any time, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.

If you are in California

You have the right to know what is collected, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of sale or sharing. I do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.

If you are in Canada or Australia

The same access, correction and deletion rights apply under PIPEDA and the Australian Privacy Act. You can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the OAIC respectively.

Unsubscribing

Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you are out. If it ever fails, email me and I will remove you by hand.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections and held with the providers listed above, who maintain their own security programmes. No system is perfectly secure, so I do not promise it is, but I do not keep anything I do not need.

Changes to this policy

If I change this policy I will update the date at the top. If the change is significant, I will say so by email.
